Clarification on Tua Tagovailoa’s Wonderlic Score: He took the test in spring of 2018 at Alabama, and got a 13. He took it again at the combine and scored a 19. The average score is a 20. I’m told, NFL teams have this information and there are no concerns.

I have a disagreement w/ @SiClancy (and Gil Brandt) about the idea of Miami passing on a QB at 5 then trading up to get Tua as he falls. It sounds nice. It passes some logical muster. But it doesn’t work like that w/ the QB position in the real world, IMO. It’s too cute by half.

I see this as a continuation of Tua’s message since the Super Bowl.
“I want Miami…”
“…but I don’t know if Miami wants me.”
It’s also consistent with Steve Ross’s hemming and hawing about Tua’s injuries during the Super Bowl.
This all seems very staged.
